BISHA are proud to announce that Team GB Juniors came 3rd in the European Championships
held in Krefeld, Germany over the weekend of 29th-31st August. In a close semi-final,
they just lost out to Switzerland in a thrilling match that ended in a 5:4 victory
for the Swiss. The team came the closest in several years to defeating the top European
teams, and deservedly won their 3rd/4th place play off against the Netherlands 3:1.
A big thank you to all the parents who travelled to support the team, and our
congratulations go to the GB Junior Management team of Karen Bailey, Tony Knock
and Shaun Ryan. Further congratulations are due for Andy Clark, who made the
tournament dream team.
